Augustine Rubit has a season-ending Achilles injury.
FC Bayern Munich big man Augustine Rubit will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2022-23 season, head coach Andrea Trinchieri revealed.

"Rubit has a season-ending injury," Trinchieri said in the post-game conference after the 90-82 away loss against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv.
As reported earlier, Rubit underwent surgery on his Achilles tendon three days ago.
His status was then defined as "out indefinitely."
Rubit suffered a severe Achilles injury during the German Cup semifinal vs. ALBA Berlin last weekend. He left the court with the help of his teammates and exited the arena on crutches.
The 33-year-old American has averaged 10.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 13.8 PIR in 20 EuroLeague contests this season. Recently, he was announced as the EuroLeague MVP for January.
