"The players have doubts, but we trust the coach and the players a lot," Navarro pointed out.
FC Barcelona general manager Juan Carlos Navarro is confident in the team's ability to react after the early elimination from the Copa del Rey.
Barca legend admitted his disappointment following the overtime loss in the quarterfinals vs. Unicaja Malaga but has also expressed maximum trust in the squad.
"It's still early in the season. We're sad, and it's normal," Navarro told the official Barcelona website. "It hurts to leave such an important competition early, but it's only the first tournament. We have two important challenges ahead. We have to get up no matter what and continue."
The 42-year-old also acknowledged that the players' current state of mind is not optimal.
"They are annoyed, but as I said, it's normal. The players have doubts, but we trust the coach and the players a lot," he pointed out.
"We have a very good team that is in bad spirits right now. However, a big team has to get up, and I think, we will do exactly that."
After beating Barca in the Copa del Rey quarterfinals, Unicaja Malaga delivered another big surprise on Saturday night by eliminating Real Madrid.
