Martin Hermannsson has been sidelined since the very beginning of the season. His return to the court is getting close.

Talking before the trip to Greece to play against Panathinaikos Athens, Valencia Basket's head coach Alex Mumbru shared an update on the player's status ahead of the EuroLeague battle.

"We are happy with Martin, the team, the coaching staff, and the club. He is an important player for us. He has practiced with us at a medium level and is practicing a bit with the second team to get up to speed," the specialist told the media.

"We are happy. Now it is the final phase and it is important that he can return with a good physical level and confidence," Mumbru shared.

Mundo Deportivo write that the club expects Hermannsson to begin practicing fully after the Copa del Rey week and join the team a week after the mini-tournament.
