Bjelica, who has been following the individual training and treatment program and planned to be included in team training this week, felt pain in the leg that he had previously injured.
Carried medical tests showed that the 34-year-old Serbian has edema (swelling caused by too much fluid trapped in the body's tissues) in the calf area.
He will follow the individual workout schedule to eliminate edema, via the report.
"Bjelica, whose condition will be evaluated daily, is planning to start team training gradually in the next week," the official statement reads further.
Bjelica was the biggest off-season signing for Fenerbahce when he decided to return to Europe after becoming an NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors, but he hasn't played a single minute for the Turkish team yet.
He has been sidelined since August when he suffered a calf injury during a friendly match against Montenegro.
