The club announced that two of their main players will be sidelined for an extended period of time. In particular, Jasiel Rivero (knee) and Jared Harper (quad) will miss 4 weeks of action due to injuries.

Rivero had to leave the court in the final moments of Sunday's Spanish Liga Endesa game against Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz after injuring his right knee, the club says. Subsequent tests have revealed that the center has suffered a knee sprain.

Harper, meanwhile, was unable to play against Baskonia due to muscular discomfort in his right thigh. The point guard underwent some tests that revealed that he suffered a muscle tear in his right quadriceps during Friday's EuroLeague game against Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade.

Additionally, Valencia have to deal with Chris Jones and arthritis he's dealing with in his right knee. The guard is not expected to be at 100% as the team's doctors are constantly monitoring his status to determine the proper rest time for Jones to have in order to continue playing throughout the season.
