Elie Okobo became the hero of the day for AS Monaco, connecting the last-second shot from deep to gift his team the tenth victory of the season. The hosts overcame ALBA Berlin, 92-89 (28-25, 24-19, 20-21, 20-24).

Monaco are now tied with Fenerbahce and Barcelona at the top of the EuroLeague table. Meanwhile, ALBA are last with only 3 total wins and 11 consecutive losses.

Mike James missed a stepback three-pointer, and then Donte Hall could not convert on the follow-up play with 23 seconds to go.

Same play, a different result at the other end: Thiemann missed from downtown, but Lammers put it in to tie the game. Monaco called a timeout and had the chance to win it at the end of regulation.

All eyes were on Mike James, who was the main candidate to take the final shot. But, Okobo got the ball and shot it right at the buzzer from the EuroLeague logo. He found nothing but the bottom of the net.

Monaco: Alpha Diallo 17, Jaron Blossomgame 13, Donatas Motiejunas 10 (7 REB).

ALBA: Maodo Lo 14, Ben Lammers 12 (5 REB), Tamir Blatt 11, Johannes Thiemann 10 (6 REB).
