EA7 Emporio Armani Milan head coach Ettore Messina didn't mince words in the postgame press conference after the heavy home loss against Anadolu Efes, hinting about a possible resignation if things won't change.

The Italian head coach didn't stay in the press conference for long, but the media members in Milan definitely heard his words.

"I'm primarily responsible for this team. If the team plays like this, I feel responsible for putting together a team that doesn't click," the Italian head coach stated. "Now the only thing I can do is try to manage the situation in Italy, where everything is still possible, and do better in the second part of the season in EuroLeague."

"If we keep playing like this, I'll draw my own conclusions, and I'll go to Mr. Armani to tell him that it will be necessary to find another guide for this team," Messina added.

Speaking about the game, Messina was disappointed with his players' effort and attitude toward the fans.

"Our performance was a shameful and heartless one, we gave up when they started to raise their level," Messina explained. "Playing like this in front of our fans and our owner is simply unacceptable."

"This game and this type of performance take us back to three years and a half ago when we were in 13th place in EuroLeague," Messina added. "In the meanwhile, we achieved some results, the last one only a few months ago, and we always played with the character that represents Olimpia Milan."

Emporio Armani Milan hasn't won a home game yet this season in EuroLeague, and on Thursday, they'll host Fenerbahce, which currently sit at the top of the table with only one loss in the first 9 games of the season.
