Approximately six months prior to the EuroLeague Final Four 2023, the season's major event doesn't have an announced host.

However, there is a potential targeted date when the Final Four could take place.

Per BasketNews sources, the initial idea is to hold the Final Four on May 19-21. On December 19, EuroLeague officially confirmed that Kaunas will host the Final Four on the mentioned date.

The regular season is set to finish on April 14. The playoffs will begin on April 25, with Game 5 scheduled to happen on May 10 at the latest, per sources.

Zalgiris fans led the EuroLeague in attendance from 2017 to 2020. The club already played 6 of their 7 EuroLeague home games this year with a sell-out crowd. The Lithuanian powerhouse also sold out the upcoming game against FC Bayern Munich. It was the 7th sold-out home game in a row.

Also, Kaunas has the most modern arena in the competition. The second biggest city in Lithuania successfully hosted the final stage of the 2011 EuroBasket.

The Lithuanian government refused to provide an additional €1M for the rights to host the Final Four. However, it didn't impact the final EuroLeague decision.
