Following the performed medical tests today, Rivero was diagnosed with a muscle tear in the calf of his left leg, via the official team's announcement.
The Spanish club reports that Rivero will be forced to miss the upcoming Valencia games. There is no timetable for the player's return to the basketball court.
The Cuban power forward/center was a leading figure in Valencia's first two EuroLeague games this season.
