Fenerbahce Beko IstanbulAccording to Tomer Givati from Israel Hayom, Darrun Hilliard injured his knee during the match and did not return to the game. Following the additional examinations after the match, the guard is expected to miss three to four weeks.
The injury occurred during the second quarter of the match when Hilliard was fighting for a loose ball.
"I hope Darrun is okay. He is very important to us, he brings us another offensive dimension that we don't have," head coach Oded Kattash said after the game. "I really have my fingers crossed, both for us and for him. He has experienced injuries in his career, got hit, and felt something."
After a local match against Kiryat Ata on Tuesday, Maccabi will travel to Turkey where they will face Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul on Friday in the EuroLeague. The game is scheduled to start at 20:00 CET.
