FC Barcelona beat Joventut Badalona 92-82 in the Catalan League final behind a strong performance from Nikola Kalinic (17 PTS).

After finishing second in 2020 and 2021, FC Barcelona reclaimed the Catalan League trophy this year.

Sarunas Jasikevicius' men overcame Joventut Badalona 92-82 (17-21, 24-16, 27-22, 24-23) in the final to win their 23rd title in the history of this pre-season tournament.

Catalan League was founded in 1980. Nowadays, only teams that play in ACB join the competition.

Joventut have 11 trophies on their resume during the 42-year period. The club ranks second in the winners' table.

Nikola Kalinic was the go-to guy for Barca in the final. The Serbian forward finished the match with a game-high 17 points, connecting 3 shots in as many tries from a mid-range, nailing 1 triple in 4 attempts, and pouring in all 8 free throws.

He scored 11 points in the fourth quarter.
