After suffering a defeat against Spain in the EuroBasket 2022 semifinal earlier this evening, Dennis Schroder has found his new team in the NBA for the next season.

According to Shams Charania from The Athletic, the German guard has agreed to sign a contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The journalist informs that it is a 1-year $2.64 million deal.

Dennis Schroder scored 30 points on efficient 11-for-17 shooting (8/10 2PT, 3/7 3PT, 5/5 FT) while also adding 8 rebounds but it was ultimately not enough to bring his country to the EuroBasket final.

Schroder has the sixth-highest scoring average in EuroBasket 2022, scoring 21.6 points per game, shooting 43.1% from the field and 28.6% from beyond the arc.
