Spanish national team head coach Sergio Scariolo has decided to cut Quino Colom and Yankuba Sima from the roster, which is reduced to 14 players.
The Spanish Basketball Federation announced on Tuesday that the National Team has cut two players and reduced the roster to 14 players.
Before debuting on September 1 at the EuroBasket, the Spanish National Team will face two qualifying matches for the 2023 World Cup.
Quino Colom and Yankuba Sima will not be in the next matches in Pamplona against Iceland (Wednesday 24) and in Almere against the Netherlands (Saturday 27).
After his decision, the Spanish national team's head coach Sergio Scariolo thanked the two players for their contributions in preparation.
"I want to thank Quino Colom and Yankuba Sima for the work they have done up to now," said Scariolo.
"I wish you the best of luck in joining your clubs," Scariolo added.
