The new Monaco addition Jaron Blossomgame, spoke about the upcoming challenges in the EuroLeague, about former team Ulm, and his goals for the next season in an interview with Totalbasket.gr.

This past season with Ulm, the American forward averaged 16.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game in the EuroCup competition and made the All-EuroCup starting five.

When asked why he chose Monaco, Blossomgame emphasized the chance to play in the EuroLeague.

"I am very excited to play in Monaco and the EuroLeague the next season," said Blossomgame.

"Before my year with Ulm one of my goals was to get to compete at this level which I finally did," continued the 28-year-old.

"I chose Monaco because they wanted me a lot and I knew they were watching me during the season in Germany," added Blossomgame.

"I have watched many of their [Monaco] matches in the EuroLeague along with the playoffs and I know that this is a serious club that aims to win at the highest level," said Blossomgame.

"I will personally try to contribute to that," added the 1.98-meters tall forward.

The American has also talked about the previous season with Ulm.

"This season has been one of those where you don't realize how good it was by watching it from the inside," said Blossomgame.

"When you sit down and see what you have achieved then you begin to understand," continued the forward.

"It is a special honor for me to be awarded as a member of the All-EuroCup starting five and I am grateful to have had this experience," Blossomgame added.

"If you ask me what the best thing I remember from Ulm is, I would say how close we were in the team," Blossomgame revealed.
