At the end of August, the Ukrainian national team will play the first matches of the second group round of qualification for the 2023 World Cup, in which they will face Italy and Iceland. The training camp of the Ukraine national team will begin on July 28.

As reported by the head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Ainars Bagatskis, the leading players who missed the July qualification games will help the team in the next window.
The team will be joined by NBA center Alex Len, and key players in power forward Volodymyr Gerun, and small forward Bogdan Bliznyuk who missed the previous window. The Toronto Raptors shooting guard Svi Mikhailuik should also suit up for Ukraine.
Len will play for the national team for the first time since the qualification matches for the 2019 World Cup, when the center played against Spain and Montenegro.
