Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana officially announced that Karlo Matkovic will be a part of the squad next season.
The 21-year-old big man has spent the last three years away from Cedevita on loan, playing for OKK Beograd (2019-20) and Mega Basket (2020-22).
Matkovic averaged 11.6 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.1 blocks over 25 ABA League games last season.
In this year's NBA draft, Matkovic was selected with the 52nd overall pick by the New Orleans Pelicans but the club decided that he would remain in Europe to continue his development.
Matkovic made his debut for Croatian NT in February 2022, playing in the 2023 FIBA World Cup Qualifiers match against Sweden.
