In Game 2 of the German BBL finals series, ALBA Berlin keep rolling, winning their second straight contest by defeating FC Bayern Munich 71-58 (18-16, 20-10, 19-17, 14-15), taking a 2-0 lead in the series.

Game 3 is scheduled for 17 June, 19:00 CEST in Berlin.

Jaleen Smith (4/7 2PT, 1/7 3 PT, 2/2 FT) and Maodo Lo (5/5 2PT, 1/5 3 PT, 4 AST) were the high-scorer players for ALBA, ending with 13 points each.

On the opposing side, Deshaun Thomas was the high-scorer for Bayern, ending with 13 points (5/10 2PT, 1/3 3PT).

After the first quarter going neck-on-neck, Luke Sikma and Oscar da Silva's successful performance let ALBA have a substantial 12-point lead (38-26) going into the halftime.

The visitors didn't give much chance of a coming back to Bayern, and double-digit leads were a constant also in the third quarter. ALBA's largest lead during the quarter was 18 points (51-33).

Andreas Obst and Zan Sisko's buckets slightly corrected the situation after the third (43-57).

Despite all the efforts Bayern showed during the last quarter, Maodo Lo and Jaleen Smith added a layup and a three-pointer, which let to maintain a solid lead (66-56) for ALBA with 1:06 left.

That was enough to finish the game comfortably, grabbing a victory on the road.
