After losing the decisive Game 7 of the VTB League Finals against Zenit St.Petersburg, coach Dimitris Itoudis announced that he and the club will go separate ways.
It was already reported in the past few days that Dimitris Itoudis will become the new head coach of Fenerbahce at the end of the season to replace Sasha Djordjevic, who's expected to leave the club.
The Greek coach spent eight years in Moscow, winning two EuroLeague titles and six VTB League titles.
Itoudis has also been named recently as the new head coach of the Greek National team and will cover a double role next season.
"I'm proud and thankful for the opportunity that I had to work with such a great club", Itoudis said after the defeat against Zenit. "I wanna also thank the supporters for their love. I'm talking like that because we decided with the club to go separate ways, but I don't say goodbye, I say I'll see you around because CSKA is a great club with a great future".
