In the decisive third game of the ABA League playoffs semifinals, Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade defeated visiting Cedevita Olimpija 88-78 (24-13, 18-24, 25-17, 21-24). They will play against Partizan NIS Belgrade in the finals.

Nikola Kalinic led the winners in scoring, putting up 15 points (4/6 2PT, 2/5 3PT, 1/2 FT), 3 assists and 2 rebounds.

On the opposing side, Yogi Ferrell was the high-scorer for Cedevita, ending with 25 points (7/7 2PT, 3/7 3PT, 2/2 FT), 5 assists and 32 PIR.

After the close first minutes of the game, Ognjen Dobric and Nikola Kalinic organized a 9-0 run in the mid-first quarter and gained a double-digit lead for Zvezda (22-10).

The start of the second period did not predict good trends for Cedevita Olimpija as well. Dejan Radonjic's squad opened the quarter with a 11-0 push and their lead grew up to 19 points (35-16). Dobric continued his successful play.

Though, the visitors were able to regroup and find better offensive execution with Zoran Dragic leading the way on. The Slovenian veteran scored 12 points in the second quarter alone, inspired their own 15-0 scoring run and cut the deficit just to 4 points (33-37) in the end of the second tally.

However, the third quarter would change the tenor of the game for good, as the hosts organized another 15-0 stretch and built the biggest lead of the game (67-47). The Slovenian side slightly corrected situation before going into the fourth quarter (67-54).

Despite Cedevita Olimpija managed to trim the lead to single-digits (67-75) with 4:31 left, Crvena Zvezda never let come closer than 8 points and EuroLeague‘s squad celebrated the convincing victory.
