NBA superstar Kevin Durant has expressed an interest in traveling to Greece for Game 5 of the playoff series between Olympiacos Piraeus and AS Monaco, to be held next Wednesday (May 4), according to information from SDNA.

Nets forward arrived in Monaco last Friday, had a first meet-up with players of the home team, before attending Game 4. Durant was a guest of Mike James', with whom he has a close friendship from both playing together in Nets and from previous years when they practiced together in the offseason.

Durant's decision to fly over to Greece is not final and that's why neither of the two teams have received official confirmation regarding the issue. Besides, his trip to Monaco had been kept under the radar, not so much because of Durant's status, but mainly because the player himself notified Monaco and James about his imminent arrival on Friday morning.

KD celebrated his former teammate and friend's win, showing how much he enjoyed being in Monte Carlo. He even wants to support him in the most crucial game of the series, Game 5 in the Peace and Friendship Center for the final matchup of the playoff series.

After winning a nail-biting fight in Game 4, Monaco will look to close out the series in Greece on Wednesday.
