In the do-or-die quarterfinals of the EuroCup, Andorra MoraBanc defeated hosting Herbalife Gran Canaria in a hard battle on the court with the final score of 79-77 (20-23, 15-19, 22-21, 22-14). MoraBanc advance to semifinals where they will meet either Cedevita Olimpija or Bursaspor.

Codi Miller-McIntyre was the most efficient player for MoraBanc, finishing with 17 points (4/9 2PT, 2/5 3PT, 3/5 FT), 9 assists, 4 rebounds and 22 PIR.
Artem Pustovyi was the leading scorer for Gran Canaria, posting 12 points (5/6 2PT, 2/2 FT), 5 rebounds and 19 PIR.
The situation became more interesting in the last quarter. MoraBanc reacted and after being down by 10 points (57-67), they made 12-2 run and tied the result (69-69) with 6:21 left, behind the performances of David Jelinek and Miller-McIntyre.
The last few minutes was all about the defense. Both clubs didn‘t manage to score a single point for more than 2 minutes, until Hannah terminated the long silence, converting three shots from the foul line to tie the game (77-77) with 1:28 remaining.
After successful defensive stop from Andorra, Hannah was fouled and converted two shots again from the charity stripe to take the visitors up by 2 (79-77) with 1:07 to go. Both teams exchanged turnovers and Gran Canaria had 4 seconds to save the game but AJ Slaughter‘s desperate 3-pointer was off the mark as time expired and Andorra celebrated the hard-fought win.
After the close first half, Gran Canaria came out aggressive in the third with a 3-pointer and a foul from Nicolas Brussino and a driving layup from Khalifa Diop for a 13-point lead (48-35). Clevin Hannah tried to keep his team alive and after his 5 points in a row the deficit reduced to 8 (40-48).
The hosts managed to retake double-digit lead once more (54-41), but after that quick spark, Gran Canaria struggled a bit offensively, while Andorra started to climb back a little to make the game more interesting. With some precious baskets made by Codi Miller-McIntyre and David Jelinek, the visitors finished the third period down by 6 (57-63).
