Spanish side Herbalife Gran Canaria didn't have to suffer too much to get rid of Slask Wroclaw and advanced to the quarter-finals of the EuroCup.
After the first half, most of the job was already done for the Spanish club who won with the final score of 87-60 (25-18, 17-9, 22-24, 23-9).
In the second half, Gran Canaria were able to maintain a solid lead, although Wroclaw played a good third quarter, in which they scored 24 points.
But that was the last sparkle from Slask who disappeared in the final quarter, leaving Gran Canaria an easy passage to the next round of the competition.
Gran Canaria dominated the second period, scoring 17 points and limiting the Polish side to only 9 points. Andrew Albicy and Artem Pustovyi's combination started to work really well for the Spanish club. At halftime, Gran Canaria were leading by 15 (42-27).
