The point guard LDCL ASVEL Villeurbanne, Matthew Strazel, is heading to the 2022 NBA Draft, as the player's agency announced.
On July 31, 2019, Strazel signed his first professional contract with ASVEL at the age of 16.
The French powerhouse is the only club in his career.
This season the 19-year-old French guard averaged 3.4 points, 0.7 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 2.3 PIR over 30 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games. ASVEL captured 14th place and did not enter the EuroLeague playoffs.
Strazel is registering 5.8 points, 1.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 6.0 PIR in 28 LNB Pro A duels, while his club sits second in the local league.
