Valencia Basket (10-4) downed Mincidelice JL Bourge en Bresse (5-9) 88-77 (26-22, 16-16, 16-25, 30-14) on the road, becoming the first team from Group B to qualify for the EuroCup playoffs.
The French side, who had won in four of its last five games, will keep fighting for a spot in the remaining four games.
The four-time EuroCup champs went 15/29 from behind the arc and also ahot well (15/28) from a lesser distance. Klemen Prepelic was the leading man once again, as the Slovenian guard amassed 18 points. Jaime Pradilla and Xabi Lopez-Arostegui added 15 and 17 points, respectively.
Bourg capitalized greatly on the steals they made (14), with Jacorey Williams and Hugo Benitez finishing with 4 apiece. Rasheed Sulaimon scored 17 points, but no other Bourg player exceeded 10.
Despite the fact that Valencia were up for the most part in the first half, the hosts responded with a partial score of 25-16 in the third quarter.
