AS Monaco (14-7) faced some issues only in the first quarter of their LNB home contest against Bourg (10-12) which ended up in an easy 93-84 (21-20, 30-14, 23-23, 19-27) win for the hosts.

With this win, Monaco stayed in the hunt for first place in the LNB regular season. Boulogne-Levallois and ASVEL Villeurbanne are still the leaders with a shared 15-6 balance.

Brock Motum was the leading man for Sasa Obradovic's squad, as the Australian forward scored points in a new season-high, after his 22 against Cholet on November 14, 2021. In fact, Motum turned on his engines right from the start, when Monaco had only a modest 21-20 edge and the former Anadolu Efes player was already tallying 12.

This time around, Mike James was held down to 7 points, but Monaco didn't bother because Paris Lee, Donatas Motiejunas and Yakuba Ouattara provided all the offensive firepower they needed in order to get to an easy win.

Bourg only responded in the last quarter when the deficit was close to 20 points. Jalen Jones scored 19 points for the guests and Rasheed Sulaimon added 12.

AS Monaco: Brock Motum 25 (8/12 FG, 6/6 FT, 6 REB), Paris Lee 15 (3/3 FG, 6/6 FT), Donatas Motiejunas 12 (6/7 FG), Yakuba Ouattara 11 (3/9 FG, 3/4 FT), Alpha Diallo 9, Mike James 7 (2/9 FG, 2/4 FT, 4 REB, 11 AST).

Bourg: Jalen Jones 19 (7/10 FG, 2/4 FT, 8 REB), C.J. Harris 16 (3/8 FG, 8/8 FT, 3 REB), Rasheed Sulaimon 12 (5/12 FG, 2/2 FT, 3 REB, 3 AST), Axel Julien 12 (3/5 FG, 3/4 FT), Alexandre Chassang 11 (4 REB, 3 AST).
