EuroLeague's French club ASVEL officially announced that guard Paul Lacombe will be out for about six weeks after suffering a dislocation of the index finger in his left hand. The player underwent surgery and will not be available at the beginning of the season.

Lacombe suffered the injury during the exhibition game, an overtime loss, against Boulogne-Levallois. The French player joined ASVEL in the summer of 2020 after spending three seasons with AS Monaco.

In the past season, he averaged 5.7 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game in the French league while shooting 40% from 3-point range.
