Kerem Kanter joins Slask Wroclaw on a one-year deal, the club announced on Tuesday. Kerem Kanter is the younger brother of the NBA player Enes Kanter.
Kerem spent last season in Greece, representing Kolossos Rhodes. He was dominant in the Greek Basket League, averaging 17.4 points (36.5% 3PT), 7.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 17.5 PIR over 28.7 minutes.
The 26-year-old will return to the EuroCup next season. He has already played there in the 2019-20 season as a member of Joventut Badalona. Kanter averaged 6.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 7.2 PIR over 14.4 minutes in the EuroCup.
Previously, the 2.05 m Turkish big man played for Dzukija Alytus and JL Bourg.
Kanter's new team will tip-off their international season on October 19 with a home game against Lietkabelis Panevezys.
