Last season the Greek guard spent between the first and the second team of OLY. In the EuroLeague, he played only one game with the main squad and did not score.
In the Greek A2 Basket League, Alexandros Nikolaidis played 20 games with Olympiacos B and averaged 14.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per contest.
The Greek talent made his EuroLeague debut with Olympiacos Piraeus on 4 February 2020, in the 2019-20 EuroLeague season game against Zalgiris Kaunas. He surpassed Georgios Printezis, as the youngest Greek-born Olympiacos player to ever compete in a EuroLeague game. Nikolaidis also became the second-youngest Olympiacos player to ever play in a EuroLeague game overall, after Aleksej Pokusevski.
