Team USA captured gold in their fourth straight Olympic games, with Kevin Durant leading the way. However, another key player for the Americans, Damian Lillard, didn't have a great tournament individually, averaging only 11.2 points and 3.2 assists.

It turns out there may have been a health-related issue behind Lillard's struggles. The Portland Trail Blazers superstar played through an abdomen injury during his team's Olympic run, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Lillard is set to undergo further medical tests once the team gets back to the US.

There have been many talks about a potential trade that would send Lillard out of Portland. However, the point guard expressed his desire to spend his entire career with the Blazers.
