According to a report from BeBasket, Euroleague newcomers Monaco are following the case of French NT member Petr Cornelie, who spent the last two seasons with Pau-Lacq-Orthez.
Selected by the Denver Nuggets in the second round (53rd overall) of the 2016 NBA draft, Cornelie has improved a lot over the last 18 months. He averaged 14.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game while shooting 44% from 3-point range in the French basketball league last season. Pau-Lacq-Orthez finished 11th with a 16-18 record.
The big man will wait until the end of the Olympic Games before making any decision regarding his future.
