After the NBA Finals wrapped up, three of its participants - Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, and Devin Booker - will join Team USA shortly. They are set to reach Japan on Saturday and be ready to suit up for the USA's first Olympic game against France, ESPN reports.

Head coach Gregg Popovich said that he's not sure how to integrate them to the squad: "I have no idea. I’m not trying to be glib. I’m trying to be transparent. Maybe they’ll be OK for the game, and it’ll hit them two days later. Maybe we should play them in the first half and see what they’re like."

The remaining USA players are also ready for the first game of the Tokyo Olympics. The team will face France on Sunday, 14:00 (EEST).
