FC Bayern Munich player Vladimir Lucic has been suspended for three games in the German Basketball Bundesliga and has been fined.
The sports director of the Bundesliga has sanctioned Vladimir Lucic for violating the sporting discipline. During Game 4 of the Bundesliga final series, FC Bayern Munich against ALBA Berlin, the Serbian forward pushed his opponent Simone Fontecchio. After his disqualification, the player did not leave the court. Moreover, he addressed two referees with unsportsmanlike remarks.
Lucic and Bayern lost the series 1-3.
Last season in the German basketball league Lucic averaged 10 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 13 games.
