KK Cedevita Olimpija have agreed to terms with the forward Melvin Ejim. The 2.01 American will move to Croatia from a fellow Adriatic League and EuroCup team - Buducnost VOLI Podgorica.
Ejim will play in the EuroCup for his fifth consecutive season. He previously represented Virtus Rome, UNICS Kazan, and Unicaja Malaga.
The 2.03 forward averaged 11.5 points (46.7% from three), 5.8 rebounds, and 11.5 EFF over 27.6 minutes in the Eurocup last year.
In the Adriatic League, Ejim accumulated 11.4 points (41.6% from three), 5.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 16.0 EFF over 24.5 minutes.
Cedevita finished fifth in the ABA League last season. However, they were victorious in the Premier A Slovenian Basketball League.
Cedevita will compete in Group B of the EuroCup next year. They will go up against Valencia Basket, Promitheas Patras, Gran Canaria, Umana Reyer Venice, Virtus Segafredo Bologna, Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana, Mincidelice JL Bourg En Bresse, Ratiopharm Ulm, and Frutti Extra Bursaspor.
