Barcelona guard Alex Abrines will stay in Catalonia for a while.
Barcelona announced that the club reached an agreement with Abrines for a new five-year contract, which will be valid throughout 2026.
Abrines, 27, made his comeback to Barca in the summer of 2019. Last season, he played 39 EuroLeague games, in which he averaged 6.1 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 4.7 PIR.
In Spanish ACB, his stat line was 7.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 8.1 PIR in 39 games played.
Tuesday, Barcelona also announced a new deal with Sergi Martinez. His contract will be valid throughout 2024.
