Achille Polonara confirmed that he will be joining Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul.
In the interview with Tuttosport, Italian admitted that this wasn't an easy decision and thanked his former team for showing trust.
“It was very difficult to leave Baskonia, it was the first club that gave me an opportunity to play in the EuroLeague,” Polonara said. “I was very sorry to leave. But when a higher team calls you, it is hard to say no.”
Polonara will become the fourth Fenerbahce signing of the summer. Pierria Henry, Devin Booker and Ismet Akpinar will also join the Turkish club.
