Panathinaikos Athens welcomed Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in the Israeli team's second game after a break due to a war in the country. During the game, the Greek club's head coach, Ergin Ataman, was ejected after a fiery reaction to a referee's decision. The game went to overtime following Josh Nebo's tip-in during the last seconds of the fourth quarter. In the overtime, Kostas Sloukas had the chance to force a second OT but missed one of the free throws, and Maccabi achieved a much-needed victory.
