Morris secured playoffs eligibility and is now a candidate to join a postseason contender. Morris was traded to the Spurs in February, which involved 3 teams, including the Philadelphia 76ers, Indiana Pacers, and Spurs.

San Antonio Spurs forward Zach Collins and Los Angeles Clippers forward Marcus Morris Sr. faced off during the first half of a Friday game. Both players were awarded technical fouls after they had to be separated late in the second quarter. Morris grabbed and yanked Collins around the neck on an attempted layup, but officials had already whistled the play dead because Collins traveled.
