"Whoop That Trick" was the phrase of the previous NBA night.

Ahead of Game 5, Stephen Curry warned the Memphis Grizzlies that the Golden State Warriors' mission was "Whoop That Trick" to end the season in Memphis. However, words did not come along with actions as GSW were demolished by 39 points, 95-134

After the heavy loss, Draymond Green acted himself and had some words to say regarding the viral phrase and the match itself.

"We got our ass kicked. That's alright, it happens. When you spew it out, you gotta be willing to take it. Not run from it, embrace it. So I appreciated the crowd tonight and the energy they brought to the game. So if they wanna whoop that trick, we're gonna whoop them together."

In the fourth quarter, the home crowd was celebrating the proud moment and a huge lead (126-80). Despite being on the other side, Draymond Green appeared to enjoy the chant as well.

Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Tyus Jones each scored 21 points and sank four 3-pointers as the host Memphis Grizzlies steamrolled the Golden State Warriors 134-95 (38-28, 39-22, 42-17, 15-28) in Wednesday night's Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals.

The Grizzlies had little trouble cutting Golden State's series lead to 3-2 despite playing without star point guard Ja Morant for the second straight game. Morant has a bone bruise in his right knee and is doubtful to play again this postseason.

Steven Adams collected 13 rebounds, Jones compiled nine assists and Jackson grabbed eight boards for second-seeded Memphis, which led by as many as 55 points. The 39-point margin of victory is the Grizzlies' largest in postseason play, topping a 124-96 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier this postseason.

Klay Thompson scored 19 points, Jonathan Kuminga had 17 and Stephen Curry added 14 for the third-seeded Warriors. No Golden State player saw more than 26 minutes of action.

Golden State forward Otto Porter Jr. missed the second half of the Warriors' Wednesday playoff game against the host Memphis Grizzlies due to right foot soreness.

Porter was on the court when the first half ended with Golden State trailing 77-50. He was examined at halftime and the club ruled him out early in the third quarter.

The 28-year-old Georgetown product was scoreless in 12 minutes before exiting. He missed all three of his field-goal attempts, all from 3-point range.

Porter scored in double digits in each of the previous two games. He tallied 13 points in Game 3 and 12 points in Game 4.

Memphis played without star point guard Ja Morant for the second straight game. Morant has a bone bruise in his right knee and is doubtful to play again this postseason.
