Brandon Ingram, the star forward of the New Orleans Pelicans, will be sidelined for at least two weeks. According to an announcement by the team, an MRI on Ingram revealed a left knee bone contusion after he was injured in a 121-106 loss to the Orlando Magic.
On top of losing the game against the Orlando Magic, the New Orleans Pelicans lost one of the their leaders. Brandon Ingram severely injured his knee and was helped off the court at the beginning of the third quarter. Ingram was defending the drive by Orlando's Jalen Suggs when he inadvertently placed his left leg on the floor. His entire left knee collapsed, and Ingram immediately went down.
