"It was my dream to play at Olympiacos since I was in Maroussi, and I was sure when I made the decision that I would succeed in every way possible and impossible. We went through difficulties, but I wish all the athletes to feel even a little bit of the love I have received from you," Spanoulis told the fans.
"When I was 15 years old, I lost my father to cancer. I said I would dedicate my career to him. I hope he's proud."
