Vanderbilt was acquired by the Lakers from the Utah Jazz back in February, and he quickly emerged as a vital part of their rotation during their late-season journey to the Western Conference finals.
The 24-year-old averaged 7.2 points and 6.7 rebounds per game during the regular season, often tasked with the challenging role of guarding the opposing team's top scorer.
He also made 24 regular-season starts and was in the starting lineup for 13 of the Lakers' 15 playoff games.
Jarred Vanderbilt initially launched his NBA career with the Denver Nuggets after being drafted by the Orlando Magic in the second round of the 2018 draft. He later spent time with the Minnesota Timberwolves, playing in 140 games over parts of three seasons before joining the Jazz last summer.
