Government of Serbia announces 25,000 euro awards for the national team's FIBA World Cup 2023 silver medals.

At Tuesday's meeting, the Government of Serbia made a decision to honor the national basketball team members for their successful performance in winning silver medals at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 held in the Philippines, Japan, and Indonesia.

According to Sportal.rs, they will each receive an award of 25,000 euros, equivalent in dinars.

The same recognition is extended to Serbia's head coach, Svetislav Pesic.

Additionally, decisions were reached regarding monetary awards for 3x3 Serbian national team players, as they won gold at the recent European Championship in Jerusalem, Israel.

Marko Brankovic, Nemanja Barac, Stefan Kojic, and Strahinja Stojacic, along with the coach Marko Zdero, will each be granted a prize of 20,000 euros.
