With the Heat currently trailing 2-1 against the Denver Nuggets, the team has officially ruled him out for Game 4 of the finals, further limiting his chances.

Following the injury, Herro underwent surgery to repair his hand and was subsequently given the green light to resume basketball-related activities during the Eastern Conference finals.

Both Herro and the team have expressed hope that he could return to the court during the finals. However, Miami coach Erik Spoelstra revealed that the recovery process involves several stages, such as shooting, movement, contact with coaches, and eventually full contact in practice.

Herro sustained a hand fracture on April 16.
