While Zvezda's semifinals ended on May 23, a considerable nine days ago, Partizan and Cedevita Olimpija are still engaged in their best-of-three series.

The Slovenian team managed to secure a victory in Game 2 on May 30, but the decisive Game 3 is not scheduled until June 6, resulting in a seven-day break between the games. This prolonged gap has raised concerns.

Aco Petrovic took to Twitter to voice his opinion.

"At the beginning, let it be clear that I am for the ABA League, but what is being done with the competition calendar is absolutely unacceptable! While one team has been waiting for an opponent in the league finals for days, there is a 7-day break between the second and third games of the second semifinal!"

In response to this situation, Crvena Zvezda have announced that they will prioritize playing the final of the Serbian League first. Only after the conclusion of the domestic championship, Red Star will decide on the dates for the ABA League finals.

The Serbian League final series could end up as early as June 13 or as late as June 18.

Crvena Zvezda issued a statement warning the Adriatic League that any attempt to disrupt the calendar of the Serbian League finals by scheduling matches during that time would be perceived as yet another provocation and an attempt to further destabilize the ABA League.
