According to George Zakkas of SDNA, Rodrigue Beaubois is nearing a new contract agreement with Anadolu Efes.
Anadolu Efes Istanbul guard Rodrigue Beaubois is close to reaching an agreement for a new contract with the Turkish team, according to George Zakkas of SDNA.
Despite the interest from Panathinaikos Athens, the 35-year-old Frenchman is expected to stay with Efes after the improved proposal submitted by the Turks last night, per the same report.
Beaubois is currently on an expiring deal with Anadolu Efes.
The combo guard has been a member of Efes since 2018 and has enjoyed considerable success during his time in Istanbul. He has already achieved two EuroLeague championships in 2021 and 2022, as well as two Turkish League titles in 2019 and 2021.
Beaubois averaged 10.8 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 11.2 PIR over 30 EuroLeague games this past season.
