Draymond Green called Celtics fans rude and celebrated their playoff elimination: "Fans will make excuses, and I ain't hearing none of that shit because y'all rude, and I'm happy y'all lost."
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green couldn't contain his excitement for the Miami Heat as they defied the odds to secure a spot in the 2023 NBA Finals from the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

However, what truly delighted Green was the opportunity to roast the Boston Celtics fans in the aftermath of their disappointing collapse.
In the recent episode of his podcast, The Draymond Green Show, Green delivered scathing remarks about the Celtics, expressing his satisfaction with their loss, except for acknowledging the talent of Jayson Tatum.
"[Their] fans will make excuses, and I ain't hearing none of that shit, because y'all rude and I'm happy y'all lost," Green said. "[I'm] not happy JT [Jayson Tatum] lost, but Celtics fans, especially those of you that are in that arena, I'm happy y'all lost. Because stop being who you are."
Green has a history with Celtics fans, as they showered him with offensive "Draymond sucks" and "F--- you, Draymond" chants during last year's NBA Finals series at the TD Garden.
