Beaten on the buzzer Tuesday evening in Cholet, Boulogne-Levallois found its groove and was ready to face Dominic Artis, author of decisive 3-pointers (including the last) in Cholet's narrow 83-80 win in Game 2. Metropolitans 92 didn't give up easy points and saw Victor Wembanayama have a modest night, on which he scored 19 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and dished out 4 assists in 34 minutes.

Rudy Gobert had a chance to watch his France NT teammate in action, occupying one of the court-side seats and enjoying the show one day after another NBA star, Kevin Durant, traveled all the way to Monaco to watch his friend Mike James.

DeVante Jones supported Wembanyama offensively with 15 points, while Lahaou Konate and TaShawn Thomas added 14 apiece. This time around, Dominic Artis wasn't much of a help for Cholet, taking 24 field-goal attempts and making only 7 of them.

Now, the Mets will play ASVEL in the semis with the home-court advantage on their side. The first two games will be held in Ile-de-France, with the second one taking place in the historic Paris Bercy. On May 6, the Mets played in the Paris hall, filling it up with 15,000 spectators in a victory against JL Bourg.

On Friday, Strasbourg host AS Monaco, with Sasa Obradovic's side holding a 1-0 lead.

Boulogne-Levallois: Victor Wembanyama 19 (8/17 FG, 3/3 FT, 9 REB, 4 AST, 2 BS), DeVante Jones 15 (5 AST), Lahaou Konate 14 (7/13 FG, 2/2 FT, 6 AST), TaShawn Thomas 14.

Cholet: Boris Dallo 15 (5 REB, 5 AST), Dominic Artis 14 (7/24 FG, 2/2 FT, 3 ST), Neal Sako 14 (6/8 FG, 2/6 FT, 15 REB).
