After the eventful first day of the 2022-23 EuroLeague Playoffs, top regular-season teams -- Olympiacos and Barcelona -- start their own postseason journey with home games vs. Fenerbahce and Zalgiris, respectively.

First, Sarunas Jasikevicius faced the team of his life as Barca welcomed Zalgiris at Palau Blaugrana. Saras' game plan worked wonders and the Catalans left no chance for the visitors in Game 1.

In the other matchup on Wednesday night, regular-season standings leader Olympiacos underlined its status as title favorite by protecting its homecourt against visiting Fenerbahce. Vezenkov led the winners with 19 points and Canaan had 18, involving six three-pointers in seven attempts.
