Coach Ergin Ataman, who started to give signs of separation after the team's season ended, will most likely take over Panathinaikos Athens next season. That leaves Efes coach-less, but it seems that the Turkish club has already started to think about the near future.

Efes aren't eager to give up on their high goals, even though the paths diverge with the head coach, who led them to unprecedented and historic success.

According to EuroHoops, ex- Real Madrid coach Pablo Laso and ex-Barcelona coach Xavi Pascual are at the top of the list, who have already started looking for a coach in the market.

Pablo Laso left his place to assistant Chus Mateo due to health problems as a result of a heart attack last year. Madrid decided to continue with Mateo after Laso recovered. Bayern Munich are also interested in Laso and they also appear as the frontrunners to sign him.

Pascual has been the head of Zenit since 2020, leading the team to the VTB title last season.
