Even though they lost against Zalgiris, it was enough to clinch a spot in the postseason due to a better head-to-head tie-breaker.

Even though the organization changed the majority of the players and hired a new head coach, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv will play in the EuroLeague playoffs for the second year in a row.

Even though Maccabi lost to Zalgiris Kaunas on Thursday, the one-point loss was enough to secure the Israeli team a spot in the postseason.

After last year's exit in the playoffs against Real Madrid, Maccabi hired Oded Kattash to lead the team. On top of that, an almost entirely new backcourt and frontcourt were signed in the offseason.

The guard duo of Lorenzo Brown and Wade Baldwin IV is often regarded as the best backcourt combo in the entire tournament.

Meanwhile, Maccabi's Menora Mivtachim Arena is constantly among the best-selling venues in the competition. As a result, Maccabi are the best home team in the entire EuroLeague, winning 14 games in 16 tries.

The playoffs are scheduled to start on April 25th and may last until May 10th. The eight remaining teams will play a best-of-five series.
